THE FOUR PRODUCT FACE.

Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer // Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara // E.l.f Studio Blush in Candid Coral // MUA Eyeliner Pencil in Rich Brown

I (don't think) I wear huge amounts of makeup daily, but the number of products I use in my everyday routine borders on ridiculous. I'm struggling to justify seven base products (how/why/what are they even doing?) and the zip on my makeup bag just broke. It's time to change, and embrace the four product face. More commonly known as the 'Crap i've overslept/am hungover (delete as appropriate) and I have five minutes to get out the door' face.

First up, we skip the foundation and head straight to concealer. Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer is a cult product, and for good reason, it's incredible (mini-review, here). Apply under eyes, and on any dark patches and blemishes. (I also dab the tiniest bit on my lips to give them a slightly pinker hue, don't judge.) Flawless complexion? Sorted. For cheeks I normally bronze, blush and highlight, but this blush from elf is a definite 3-in-1. A natural browny-coral hue with a hint of golden shimmer. We're onto a winner.

Eyeliner tends to be overlooked when we're in a rush, but this multi-tasker is a must for any busy girl's makeup bag. Quickly run it through the brows with a light hand (I am terrible with eyebrows, but this is pretty foolproof), and line the outer half of the upper lash line (feel free to do the waterline too, i just look awful whenever I try) and smudge. Eyes and eyebrows in a matter of minutes, plus it's a pencil sharpener too! What more could you want? A quick coat of mascara, swipe of lipbalm and you're out the door.

What are your go-to makeup staples when you're in a rush?
